Acceptable Use

Purpose

Clarity is an educational reflection tool for understanding language patterns in communication. These rules describe permitted and prohibited uses of the public analyzer and related materials.

Permitted uses

• Private reflection on your own messages or conversations you are authorized to review.
• Education about manipulation literacy and communication pressure patterns.
• Synthetic scenario analysis and classroom or workshop exercises with fictional examples.
• Authorized organizational training on communication and safeguarding, using de-identified or consented materials.

Prohibited uses

You may not use Clarity to:

• Publicly score, rank, or label named individuals or non-consenting third parties.
• Harass, brigade, stalk, doxx, intimidate, or punish anyone.
• Diagnose mental illness, personality disorders, or claim someone is manipulative or abusive based solely on Clarity output.
• Treat screening output as proof in legal, employment, housing, educational, disciplinary, or clinical decisions.
• Run automated mass profiling of people or messages without authorization.
• Upload or analyze content you do not have permission to review.
• Attempt to identify, target, or coerce people using Clarity results.

No public score databases

Do not build or maintain public databases that assign manipulation scores to named people. Such use creates defamation, brigading, and context-collapse risks and is inconsistent with Clarity’s evidence-linked educational purpose.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you interpret and act on Clarity output. Scores describe language functions in pasted text—not intent, character, or safety. See Limitations and Methodology for scope and limits.
